  • The Samaritan Hospital Board of Trustees held its monthly meeting Tuesday evening at 5:30 p.m. in the Administration Conference Room.
The wound clinic, which would create three positions in the hospital, was discussed. Bids are being taken for contractors and are due Friday, Jan. 11. Currently there are four contractors who have shown interest. The  clinic would be one of the few wound clinics to offer hyperbaric chambers. This project will cost approximately $150,000.
The hospital is advertising for bids from January 14-18 for the parking lot. Once the bids are in, the project will start depending on weather.
Under new business, Samaritan Hospital plans to have its IT staff participate in HPF training. HPF is archiving software that the staff would like to be better versed in before updating to newer software. The four-day training would be on-site.
The next Board of Trustees meeting will be on February 12 at 5:30 p.m.
