Doug Vose, 61, of Macon, MO, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012, at his home in Macon.
Doug was born on December 12, 1951, in Kirksville, MO, the son of Norman H. and Wilma (Thurman) Vose. He was united in marriage to Margie Henley on May 14, 1988, in Macon, MO. Doug was a member of the Assembly of God United Trinity Church in Macon. He was a truck driver for 27 years. Doug loved his God, family, and working on everything that had a motor.
He is survived by his wife Margie of the home; his mother Wilma Vose of Macon; one daughter, Gina Goad of Chenoa, IL; two sons, Clint and Luke Vose of the home; two grandsons, Logan and Levi Goad of Chenoa, IL; one sister Pat Bradley and husband Carl of Macon, MO; one niece Shawna Parker of St. Joseph, MO, and one nephew, Josh Bradley of Blue Springs, MO.
Doug was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral Services will be Friday, January 4, 2013, at 10:30 am, at the Assembly of God United Trinity Church in Macon. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Macon. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 4 to 7 pm at the Assembly of God United Trinity Church. Memorials can be made to the family.
