Macon Moments in History, Dec. 12, 1997

The following Macon Moments in History were taken from the December 12, 1997 edition of the Macon Chronicle-Herald.

Macon All-State Band members pictured were: Dani Lewis, Kristin Bennett, Elizabeth Juengel, Mollie Sterling and Wendi King.

A 28,000 square foot addition to the LaPlata school was near completion. The addition included two classrooms, a superintendent’s office, nurse’s office, locker rooms, gym & stage.

J.C. Terry, board member of Macon received a certificate of appreciation for six years service to the agency.

John Wiggans, formerly of Macon will conduct “The Messiah” at Warren County R-III School District were he is the director of vocal music. He is the son of Ronnie and Sherry Wiggans.
