  • Dorothy Pearl Morgan, 81, of Macon, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon.
    She was born on November, 15, 1931, the daughter of Fay and Pearl (Hebel) Ravenscraft in Mexico, MO.  Dorothy graduated from Macon High School in 1950.  She was united in marriage to George Morgan on June 30, 1957, at the United Methodist Church in Macon.  Dorothy enjoyed shopping and showing her ’57 Pontiac.
    She is survived by her husband, George of the home; one brother, Elmo Ravenscraft and wife, Jackie of Kansas City, MO, one sister-in-law, Maxine Robertson of Peoria, IL; two nephews, Kent Ravenscraft and wife, Janet of Kansas City, MO, and Brent Ravenscraft and wife, Jodi of Parkville, MO, several other nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
    Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents.
    Funeral services will be Saturday, December 8, 2012, at 11:00 am at the Hutton and McElwain Funeral Home in Macon.  Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens north of Macon.  Visitation will be Saturday morning from 9:00 am till time of service at the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Loch Haven Nursing Home Special Care Unit.
