Macon Moments in History Nov. 9, 1992

The following Macon Moments in History were taken from the November 9, 1992 edition of the Macon Chronicle-Herald.

The Macon High School Cheerleaders took 3rd in the state Cheerleading Championships. Squad members include: Stephanie Garvin, Amber Bennett, Kyla Moyer, Ashley Dorner, Betsy Clarke, Deana Shatzer, Nikki Raishe and Arla Davis.

The 1992 Macon Tigers ended their regular season with at 40-0 win over Bowling Green. The Tigers will next play Knob Noster in the state sectionals.

C&R Market’s grocery ad offered bread for 28 cents a loaf, oranges at 6 for $1 and eggs for 38 cents a dozen.
