From Oct. 29 to Nov. 5 Macon Municipal Utilities employees went to help those without power after Hurricane Sandy blew through. Pictured above are Assistant General Manager Scott Lucas, Austin Barnett, Jason Carr, John Cook and Anthony Witt. The men worked in the inner-city in Cleveland, Ohio. The men said the inner-city lost power due to 80 mph winds. "Out of the 750,000 customers, 250,000 were without power when the MMU crew arrived. Lucas said, "When we arrived a couple of women ran across the street pleading, 'Mr. please help us.'"
