Macon Moment in History Nov. 2, 2004

The following Macon Moments in History were taken from the November 2, 2004 edition of the Macon Chronicle-Herald.

Macon County Clerk Pat Clarke said that there was a  heavy voter turnout at the Floral Hall voting place. By 8:35 a.m. over 323 people had voted and there were over 50 waiting in line to vote. Clark estimate a 75 to 77 percent turnout in Macon County.

Some of the costume winners in the Randy Johnson Memorial Halloween costume contest were: Hunter Stivers, Daniele Pagliai, Zach Smith, Hannah White, Kayde Maloney, Nic Munch and Anna & Rick Smith.

The Macon Tigers kept their playoff hopes alive by defeating the Hamilton Penney team 30-12
