The Macon defense played pretty good, but the Centralia defense played better. The Tigers only allowed 20 points to the Panthers, but could only put seven on the board themselves.
Centralia had a touchdown pass in each of the first two quarters to take a 14-0 lead into halftime.
Macon's Tyrone Walker cut the lead in half on a 66-yard jaunt on the first possession of the third quarter, but they could no closer. The Panthers ended all hopes with a late touchdown to seal the game.
With the win, Centralia improved to 8-1 on the season while the Tigers fell to 6-3.
