    Nancy Ellis and Ryan Bennett were crown bearers for 1982 Homecoming Queen Stephanie Knowles.
    J.D. and Serena Cooper of Macon were pictured with two giant mushrooms that they found.
    Denzill Burris of Macon registered the first turkey shot in shotgun season. It was an 18 1/2 pound gobbler.
    The MHS Science Club’s PacMan float won 1st place in the float competition at the homecoming parade.
