  • Maxine Ruth (Jones) Jobson, 91, of Bucklin, MO, passed away at her home on Sunday, October 7, 2012.
        Maxine was born on October 28, 1920, in New Cambria, MO, the daughter of Andrew T. and Jennie (Powell) Jones.  On August 30, 1941, she was married to George Earl Jobson in New Cambria.  He preceded her in death on May 12, 1981.  She was a lifelong member of the United Church of New Cambria as well as a 50 year member of the Eastern Star.  Maxine was retired from the Walsworth Publishing Company.
        Maxine is survived by her children, Karen (Larry) Wahl, Liberty, MO, Robert (Wilma) Jobson, Bucklin, Kathryn (Edward) Barker, Pleasant Valley, MO, Lois (Jim) McCollum, Marceline, MO, and William (Marie) Jobson, Bucklin, 14 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, (2 on the way), 9 step-great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, (1 on the way) and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  
    She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Charles Eldon Jobson, great-granddaughter, Emma Katherine Jobson, and two sisters, Martha Hill and Helen Bellamy.
    Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at the United Church of New Cambria with Rev. Mary Ellen Waychoff officiating.  Burial will be in the New Cambria Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of service on Wednesday.  The family requests memorials to the Serve Link Hospice or the United Church of New Cambria in her memory.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Gilleland & McElwain Funeral Home in New Cambria.
