    Crystal Lyda has resigned after 13 years as executive director of the Macon Area Chamber of Commerce.
    The Macon JV softball team won the Palmyra tournament behind the pitching of Dena Brown, Sarah Roberts and Kacie Nelson.
    Associate Circuit Court Division II was moving back to the Macon County Courthouse annex building. The annex was closed as a result of employees saying they had become ill following spraying of pesticides in the building.
