Atlanta's baseball team seems to be getting stronger with each game, and it showed Tuesday night in Brashear against the rival Tigers.
The Hornets scored seven runs in the third inning, four more in the sixth, in a 16-4 routing of Brashear.
Marty Halley picked up the win for Atlanta, going four innings, allowing three runs on two hits, walking three, hitting one and striking out three.
Ethan Baker pitched an inning, striking out one. Collan Thrasher pitched an inning, striking out two.
Garrett West went 2-5 with a home run, three RBIs and two runs scored. Dylan Hruska went 1-5 with an RBI and three runs scored.
Lance Weber was 4-5 with a double, two stolen bases, three RBIs and three runs scored. Ethan Baker was 0-3 with a walk and a run scored.
Marty Halley was 1-3 with two walks, a stolen base, two RBIs and a run scored. Tagan Brookhart was 0-4 with a stolen base, RBI and a run scored.
Collan Thrasher was 2-4 with a stolen base and two runs scored, and Lane Waddle was 1-4 with an RBI and three runs scored.
The Hornets improve to 4-2 overall (2-0 TCC).
Atlanta travels to Linn County Friday night.
