  • The Macon Tigerette softball team was swept by Monroe City Thursday evening.

  • After being swept out of Hallsville the night before, the Macon Tigerettes looked to rebound Thursday night in Monroe City.
    In the JV game, the Lady Panthers would overcome a late deficit to get the win over Macon, 11-10.
    Chalee Britt pitched the five innings, giving up just two hits, walking 10 and hitting no batters.
    Jocie Hogsett went 0-1 with two walks. Allie Chambers was 0-1 with two walks and reached on an error.
    Chalee Britt was 2-3 with a single and a double. Kyra Oliver went 1-2 with a single and a walk.
    Mackenzie Reilly was 1-3 with a single. Abby Seipel was 0-2 with a walk.
    Madison Grammer was 0-1 with a walk. Kali Lorenzo was 1-1 with a single.
    In the varsity game, the Lady Panthers would finish off the sweep with an 11-5 win over Macon.
    Shelby Ziebarth pitched seven innings, allowing 17 hits, walking one and hitting two batters.
    Katie Clapp was 1-5 with a single. Ziebarth was 0-4 with a walk.
    Valerie Schmidt was 0-4 with a walk, but reached three times on Monroe errors and had a stolen base.
    Kayla Vansickle was 1-2 with a single and two walks and reached on an error. Katy Stoecklein was 3-4 with three singles.
    Paige Klocke was 1-4 with a bunt single. Allison Bright was 0-3 with a walk.
    Anna Kacmar was 1-3 with a single, reached on an error and was hit by the pitch. Nicole Lucas was 0-3 with a walk.
    The varsity Tigerettes dropped to 0-2 overall (0-1 CCC).
    Macon traveled to Centralia Friday night, and played host to Moberly Monday night.
