Macon Momment in History Aug. 20, 2004

The following Macon Moments in History were taken from the Aug. 20, 2004, edition of the Macon Chronicle-Herald.

Dirt work began at Macon Lake Estates, a new subdivision located on the west side of the Macon Lake. The subdivision will have 62 lots.

Jessie Mayhew, daughter of Mark & Becky Mayhew of Macon brought home medals in the hammer throw, javelin, and shot put in the 16 and under age group at the Show-Me-State Games in Columbia.

Samantha Hogenson of Ethel traveled to Australia and New Zealand for three weeks with the People-to-People Program.
