Macon Moment in History - Aug. 2, 2004

42 contestants were competing for prizes from the Macon Chamber of Commerce’s Moonlight Madness. Melissa Sandner was the winner of the 32” Zenith TV & DVD player.

The 50th annual Callao Fiesta was celebrating its Bicentennial Celebration.

Area Birth: Pate Llewellyn, son of Michael and Dawn Llewellyn of Macon was born on July 8, 2004 at Moberly Regional Medical Center. He weighed seven pounds and 6.8 ounces.

Some local political ads included: Randy Julius for Macon County Assessor, Scott Ziebarth for Sheriff, Lois Noland for Public Administrator, Margery Waller for Public Administrator, Jim Palmer for  Macon County Assessor and Robert Dawson for Sheriff.
