Pampered tomatoes beat the heat

Tomato plants at the home of Jess Simon and Vaudia Sattman have been pampered during the recent dry weather and triple digit temperatures. Jess has covered the tomato patch with mesh netting to shade his crop from the hot sun. He also ran two fans on the plants during the day and waters them twice a day.
