Purchased from Vaughan Pools. Replaces a slide that was purchased in 2009.
    Why is it being replaced?
According to City Clerk Vicky McLeland, the old slide was starting to show wear & surface cracking and the city wanted to replace it before anyone was cut or scratched. Plans were to have it ready for when the pool opened this year, but the first slide arrived damaged and the installation was delayed waiting for a replacement.
When will it be ready to use:
McLeland hopes that the project will be completed by the end of this week, or the first of next week. Some concrete work will be needed to install the slide.
What is coming up at the pool in the future?
The Community Pool Party is planned for June 25 (rain date is July 2) from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Free pool admission, hotdogs, chips, soda
Swim lessons are scheduled for the week of July 16. Call city hall at 660-385-6421 to register.
