- “Keeping the Dream Alive,” was the theme of this year’s Martin Luther King, Jr., Breakfast sponsored by the Concerned Citizens Organization and the Macon County Ministries, Monday morning. A variety of speakers and music was in the this year’s program. A summary and future challenge was given by Rev. May Hall with the Bethel A.M.E. Church in Macon. Rose Harris, Breakfast and Program Coordinator said they had enough seating for 200 people and the Macon United Methodist Auditorium was full.
